Our History

During the fall of 1971, Hershey Energy Systems was incorporated in New York State by our President and founder, D. Alan Hershey. With a pioneering spirit and realizing a need for the conservation of energy resources, he set out to offer industries in upstate New York unique ways to decrease their electrical energy costs and thus improve their bottom line.

Throughout our history, Hershey Energy Systems has offered an array of products to our customer base. Our past involvements include:

• HVAC Control and Heating Exchange Systems
• Energy Management and Building Automation Systems
• Solar Controls
• Lighting Controls

For over 30 years, Hershey Energy Systems has successfully helped businesses throughout the eastern United States save from between 10-35% of their electric utility costs.
